37 Weeks & Full Term!

We made it!!! Can't believe baby girl will be here any day now!! Still waiting on her book case, slip cover for her glider/rocking chair and one more decor accessory for her nursery but other than that her room is done! I have pulled out all of the other necessities and have them ready for her to come home to. Now we're just waiting for her arrival :)
I have a doctors appointment on Monday so we'll see if there is any progression then. In the meantime there are still a ton of Braxton Hicks and a fair amount of actual contractions that don't lead to anything exciting :/ I have had a lot of energy and have been getting a lot done around the house. My OCD is thanking me!

How far along? 37 Weeks 1 Day

Weight gain: 15 lbs

Sleep: Still not sleeping very well. Between getting up to use the restroom and just not being comfortable there is not much sleep going on.

Maternity clothes: Yes, for now... but not for long!!

Best moment this week: Christmas!! I can't even begin to explain how much fun it is to have a toddler during the Holidays. I had so much fun watching Landon open his presents and getting so excited over all of his new toys. Can't wait until next year!

Movement: Yes! But she has definitely slowed down...

Food cravings: Still a hot cocoa with TONS of marshmallows every night but thats about it :)

Anything making you queasy of sick: Nope! Heartburn is gone and have been feeling great!

Labor signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks and there have been stretches of actual contractions but nothing that leads to anything exciting. I have a doctors appointment on Monday so we'll see where I am at then :)

Stretch marks: Still haven't seen one! I love my Mustela!

Belly button: Not an innie and not an outie...

Happy or Moody: Happy! Can't wait to meet our sweet girl and introduce her to all of our family and friends!

Looking forward to: Having all the Christmas stuff packed up and the house perfectly clean before baby girl gets here :)

Maternity Shoot

I can't even begin to explain how in LOVE I am with my maternity photos!! Last pregnancy it was summer, there were thousands of cute maxi dresses and skirts as well as summer and warm weather. This time around, on top of not feeling that great majority of the pregnancy there was little fashion to choose from that fit the season, fit the belly and was cute. I ended up getting really lucky after struggling to find something for months! I am so happy with the way everything turned out! And although we froze our butts off outside, we were able to get out during a break from the rain and get a few great images outside as well. As always, Eva Baker did an amazing job capturing these images!

36 Weeks!!

Seriously?? 36 Weeks?? I am not sure how we got here so fast?!
All has been crazy but all has been good! I had an amazing time at my baby shower and felt so much love for our sweet girl! I have been busy working in her nursery getting everything organized. All of her clothes have been washed and put away. I am waiting on a couple of things (bookcase, a slipcover for the chair and a few decor items) but other than that the nursery is done and is oh so INCREDIBLY sweet! I feel like I am pretty prepared but I'm sure there will be things we'll need. Landon is very excited! He loves spending time in his baby sisters room :) it melts me!!!

I have been feeling pretty good. Lots of energy in the morning but that slowly diminishes throughout the day, by 3-4:00 I'm done! Still have terrible restless legs and am waking up with unbearable leg cramps! Absolutely insane!!! At least the end is near!

How far along? 36 Weeks

Weight gain: 14 lbs (beyond weird and amazing all at the same time)

Sleep: Nope. Peeing every hour to hour and a half, restless legs = no sleep :(

Maternity clothes: Yes, of course.

Best moment this week: We went and took one last peek at our baby. It is so amazing to watch how much they change in gestation! Also doing all of her laundry. For some reason when I pull a bunch of sweet pastel clothes and blankets out of the dryer, folding and putting them away isn't that bad! Oh and a maternity shoot! I am in LOVE with all of the pics!

Movement: Yes!! This girl still moves a BUNCH!! And has some bizarre positions she likes to hang out in... like a leg coming out the side of my stomach.

Food cravings: Nothing really... still have hot cocoa with a bunch of marshmallows on it every night though :)

Anything making you queasy or sick? I've actually been feeling pretty good. No more heartburn so that has been nice!

Labor signs: Yes, at 35 weeks I was still completely closed. On Wednesday, 36ish weeks baby has dropped and I am dilated to 2cm. I have been having contractions but they are not regular. Although often, they are not painful - wouldn't call them comfortable but definitely not painful. Doctor is certain I won't make it to my due date but doesn't think she'll be here in the next few days either. We'll see!

Stretch marks: Not a one!

Belly button: Not an outie and not an innie lol

Happy or moody: Happy! And even happier the end of this pregnancy is near!

Looking forward to: CHRISTMAS!!!! I have a two year old who gets Santa and loves presents, the tree, lights and loves to bake with me. I know that's not what the holiday is all about but it sure is fun seeing it through a toddlers eyes! I can't wait for Christmas morning!!!
Also, my mom, brother, sister in law and nephew will be here with us as well - which adds to the fun of it!

34 Weeks

I was kind of hoping time would slow down just a little bit, but no. I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed with everything I still want to get done before this little bundle makes her debut... but I still have six-ish weeks so hopefully I can get it all done!
All of her furniture is here except for one piece which is backordered, but the important stuff is here! One full load of baby girl clothes has been done and I'm figuring out what I want her to wear while in the hospital and her "going home" outfit.
This weekend is my baby shower!!! I am so excited to see everyone and celebrate this sweet, sweet little girl!

How far along? 34 Weeks

Weight gain? 13 lbs

Sleep: Sleep?? What is that?? Between the awful heartburn, peeing ALL THE TIME and not being able to get comfortable it almost seems like a lost cause :(

Maternity clothes: Yes

Best moment this week: Enjoying the crazy stormy weather, watching movies and cuddling with my little boy :)

Movement: Still a lot of movement even though I can tell she is running out of room. I felt hiccups for the first time last night - weird since I felt them way earlier with Landon... not that I'm complaining ;)

Food cravings: I might have a hot cocoa with a boat load of marshmallows on it every night but not sure if I would call that a craving or normal...

Anything making you queasy or sick? I have my good days and bad. I usually take something for the nausea a couple of times a week but now I'm mostly just tired. Exhausted!!

Labor signs: Not really...

Stretch marks: Searching but haven't seen one :)

Belly button in or out? Still an innie.

Happy or moody? Christmas is right around the corner! How can I be anything but happy?!?!

Looking forward to: My baby shower this weekend and spending time with friends and family!

31 Weeks!

So much still going on! Coming to the end of a pregnancy during the Holidays is quite chaotic! My whole house caught a stomach bug that was pretty bad. I think my mom (who was visiting) and I got it the worst, but fortunately we are all feeling better!
It was so nice to have my mom in town! Before we got sick we were able to paint Little Miss' nursery! I love the way it turned out and can not wait for her furniture to get here later this afternoon! Nesting mode has started to set in. I got out all of Landon's baby stuff (insert tears here) to see what we can use again and made a list of things that we will need. Can't believe we're only 9ish weeks away from meeting our baby girl!!!

How far along? 31 Weeks

Weight gain? Still at 12 (I'm guessing due to being sick for a week)

Sleep: Getting up at least once a night, usually twice, to use the bathroom... so annoying!

Maternity clothes: For the most part yes but it was very exciting to go shopping (for upcoming Holiday and Maternity photo shoots) and still find regular clothes (stretchy ones) that are my size that fit over the bump!

Best moment this week: We went and took another peek at our girl :) I love seeing her face! Getting the nursery painted was a highlight as well!

Movement: There is a dance party in my belly... all of the time!

Food cravings: Nothing much... food is just starting to sound good again.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope - just that darn stomach bug!

Labor signs: None

Stretch marks: I'm watching my skin like crazy as I know I'm bigger with this baby than I was with Landon. So far nothing and fingers crossed it stays that way!

Belly button in or out? Amazingly, still in!

Happy or Moody? Happy and excited and giddy!

Looking forward to: Getting baby girls furniture delivered this afternoon :)

Pre-Halloween Fun!

So far every year I have been able to take Landon to this great Trick or Treating event that the local mom's group I belong to puts on. Last year Landon didn't really understand what was going on, he was just happy to run around with his friends. This year, although he acted unusually shy, he seemed to have more fun going to trick or treat at the local stores that were participating. Nevertheless it was a great opportunity to dress him up and take some pictures just like I have the years before. Crazy to think this will be his third Halloween!!

Third Trimester!

Hello Third Trimester!

Still can't believe how fast the time is flying. When I was pregnant with Landon it seemed like the third trimester went by the fastest until I hit 35/36 weeks then time stood still! Things have been crazy busy here here the last few days. Landon is officially in a toddler bed as he mastered the art of jumping out of his crib. We are two days in and each day is getting easier so hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be the new normal... this mama needs her sleep (pardon the dark circle and bags under my eyes). There are a lot of fun things ahead this week... pumpkin activities, trick or treating, watching the World Series (GO GIANTS!!!!) and my mom is coming into town to spend some time with us! I am so excited to start working on the nursery and other fun projects for baby girl!!

How far along? 28 Weeks

Weight gain: 12 lbs

Sleep: Not the last couple of nights :(

Maternity clothes: Yeah, yep and yes.

Best moment this week: Seeing baby girl via 4D ultrasound! I LOVE seeing her!!!

Movement: Like crazy!!!

Food cravings: Not really, but I've been really hungry lately.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Labor signs: Nope

Stretch Marks? Not a one. Belly butter, balm and lotion at least once a day!

Belly button in or out? Still in.

Happy or Moody? I'm happy. I feel good and am enjoying the last couple of months with my little guy being the only child.

Looking forward to: Watching the World Series, having friends over and visiting with my mom :)

27 Weeks

I can not believe next week I will officially be in my third trimester?! The time continues to fly!
We are just about settled into our new house. Still have some decorating to do but I feel for the most part the house looks put together and things are organized. This week I am going to start working on Baby Girl's nursery. Still not sure what I am going to do but have a couple of cute ideas :) I can't wait until it's complete but if it's anything like Landon's it won't be completely done until after she gets here.
Fall is definitely in the air! It has been a lot cooler and we've even made our first trip to the pumpkin patch. I still have so many things I want to do with my little guy before Little Miss arrives!

How far along? 27 Weeks

Weight gain: 10 lbs

Sleep: Sleep comes and goes. She is still very active and likes to dance on my bladder so I usually get up at least once to pee.

Maternity clothes: I still manage to find tops with some stretch in them but for the most part I am in maternity clothes.

Best moment this week: Giants won last night!!! We're going to the World Series!!!

Miss anything: Life with out heart burn or restless leg syndrome... whyyyyy????

Movement: Still very, very active!

Food cravings: Peaches and Hot Chocolate with TONS of marshmallows!

Anything making you queasy or sick? I had food poisoning the night before last (miserable, miserable night) but other than that I've been feeling great... minus the heart burn :(

Gender: PINK!

Labor signs: Nope

Belly button in or out? Still and innie...

Happy or moody: Pretty happy! I'm really excited to get started on some fun projects :)

Catching up at 25 Weeks!

I'm back!!! So much has happened since I last posted four weeks ago! Needless to say I have been beyond busy and things have been crazy with our little family! Everyone is doing very well but so many changes! We just moved, like literally have been in our new house for a week and a day. It's coming together but there is still so much unpacking and organizing that needs to be done! There are days that I feel like I have all the time in the world and there are days where I am so overwhelmed I don't know where to begin. Slowly but surely it will all get done!

How far along? 25 Weeks

Weight gain? 8 lbs

Sleep: Last night was the first night, in a really long time, that I actually felt like I got a good night of sleep. I'm getting up to use the bathroom but have been able to fall back asleep fairly easily.

Maternity clothes: Still mixing it up... with the warm weather I have been wearing a lot of low cut shorts and loose fitting tops. But I'm definitely not fitting in to my skinny jeans anymore.

Best moment this week: This is going to sound ridiculous... but I got to go out and buy a new washer and dryer (after not having one for the last week) and doing laundry this morning has been awesome! I would have never thought a washer and dryer would make me so happy!

Miss anything: Of course the wine, beer, cocktails, flat tummy, sushi, ect, ect.

Movements: Yep, she doesn't sleep... ever!

Food cravings: Arnold Palmers! And anything really spicy minus the crazy heartburn that goes along with it :(

Anything making you queasy or sick? Aside from being exhausted from the move I am feeling great!

Gender: Baby girl confirmed at our 20 week scan :)

Labor signs: Nope

Belly button in or out: Still an innie but almost flat.

Happy or Moody: I have been all over the place lately... the smallest things can set me off :/ my poor husband!! But overall I'm happy :)

Looking forward to: Getting the new house together, starting baby girl's nursery and partaking in all in the fun fall festivities with my sweet boys.

21 Weeks

How far along? 21 Weeks

Weight gain: 4 lbs

Sleep: For some reason I am waking up at 4/4:30 to pee then tossing and turning until about 6:30-7 when Landon wakes up... ughhhh!

Maternity clothes: Yes and yes... more often than not I am in maternity clothes.

Best Moment This Week: Our house is in contract :)

Miss Anything? The usual... and I'm really ready for fall weather! So over the super hot muggy days!

Movement: I'm not sure if this baby even sleeps. She moves all of the time, kind of crazy!! But I LOVE feeling her!

Food Cravings: Frosted Mini Wheats, still lots of ice lemon water and SPICY anything! The more jalapeƱo's the better!! And Tapatio too!

Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? Last Friday I stopped taking all of my meds!!! And am so happy to report that I feel almost 100% back to normal. I still have occasional moments of not feeling the greatest and am often tired but I chalk that up to being pregnant. I have been going to the gym and meeting with my Pilates instructor three times a week and am feeling a lot better, all the way around!

Gender: Baby Girl!

Labor Signs: Nothing :)

Belly Button In or Out? Innie

Happy or Moody? Happy but so emotional. I cry over EVERYTHING lately... such a mess!

I am in love with a lot of the cute Fall maternity clothes that are out now though! I CAN NOT wait for Fall!
