Happy New Year and Big News!!!

If you happen to follow me on IG you probably already saw the "Big News!"

We are beyond excited (a just a smidgen scared ;)) to welcome our FOURTH little babe!
Making our announcement was so much fun! The kids loved getting dressed up and loved throwing the confetti even more! I'm pretty sure I'll be cleaning it up until the new baby gets here.

Hope you all have a fabulous, fun and safe New Year!

Miss O is 18 Months

Last but not least, in that one week that all my kids hit milestones, my sweet little girl turned 18 months.

I could go on forever about this little girl. She is at the age where you really really get to know what kind of personality they're going to have. This little girl is stubborn as all get out (no idea where she gets that from). She is set in her ways and there is no persuading her otherwise, except for maybe with food. She is becoming a total girly girl. She LOVES accessories. Bows, sunglasses and necklaces. As I write this I am thinking I need to get this girl a purse! She is beyond sweet when she wants to be. Kisses, hugs, cuddling and being so attentive to her brothers. She is the first to point something out if it is out of the norm. A door left open, a cupboard left unlocked is ran too followed by many "oh-oh's!" She is letting go of me more and more. I am so grateful for this as it truly makes my life easier but I honestly miss being her person and not just her person, but her only person. She loves her daddy! He leaves for work while she is still sleeping and when we go back into our room she goes to his side of the bed and says "dada?" She's also really good about going around the house and finding things that belong to her daddy then brings them to me screaming "daddddyyyyyy!" She adores both of her brothers. Landon is truly her best friend. I swear watching the two of them play together melts this mama's heart into a bazillion little pieces. She loves holding her baby brother. She'll climb up onto the couch and make noises and pat her lap until you give her the baby. I love watching her grow and explore. And just like every other time I sit and write anything, I'll say it again, but time is just going by way to damn fast.

A Vintage Baseball Themed Baby Shower

This weekend my mother-in-law threw me the cutest "Vintage Baseball Themed" baby shower brunch. It was very small and intimate and it was oh so special. We met at this adorable nursery that also has a cafe (with some of the yummiest food EVER!) and noshed on a delicious brunch. I was surprised with a touching-as-all-get-out book that included a letter or acronym of baby boys name from each of the women in my family. So incredibly special! And the cake was beyond cute!! and D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!

I can't believe we are just a few short weeks away from meeting our little guy. Still so much to do, pretty much everything! But hoping to get a lot of it done this week. I guess I'm still waiting on that burst of energy and my other two littles to lose some of theirs ;)

Coming Into the Third Trimester

That whole cute idea I had, the one with the weekly chalk boards (of which I think I nailed every week with Landon's pregnancy and came in strong with Odessa's pregnancy given I was sick the whole) has completely gone by the wayside. I have no idea where my time goes. Some of these days with a three and a half year old and a week shy of a one year old seem like bedtime will never come. But the weeks, the months, and now the year have flown by.
I can't even say we're busy with anything exciting. Just busy with keeping those precious being out of danger and keeping smiles on their faces. They can drive me crazy but I sure do love them!!
I feel like I blinked and am coming into the third trimester. This pregnancy hasn't been as easy as Landon's but has been SO much better than Odessa's. I don't feel sick as long as I remember to take my diclegis. I am tired but still manage to get through the day on a whopping one serving of caffeine... amazing! I miss my wine like crazy but soon enough I'll be partaking in wine drinking obsession soon enough.
So much is happening in the next couple of weeks/months. Odessa will be ONE in ONE week!!! WHAT?!?! I'm pretty sure I had her like four months ago. The party is just about done being prepped for and I can't wait to share pictures from her day!
And I promise I'll try and post as many updates as I can in these last few months before we are officially a family of five!

It happened!

As I was watching hell freeze over and pigs fly my little boy stood patiently and gave me the best smile!! This is a rarity these days and the fact that it happened in my husbands jacket, of course Landon loves anything fireman and firetruck, just makes it all the better!
We are all still sick with horrible head colds so my afternoon will be spent in the kitchen making my homemade from scratch chicken noodle soup. Hopefully that helps us all feel better soon as I would love to get out to the pumpkin patch with the kiddos. Not to mention we have our gender reveal party this coming Sunday!! I can not wait!!!
Hope you all enjoyed the weekend and your week is off to a great start!

12 Week Bump-date

(disclosure1 - I took the picture at the 12 week mark but am a day shy of 14 weeks ;))
(disclosure2 - I know there is no chance of me doing these boards every week this time around but will do my best to do them as often as I can)

How far along? 12 Weeks

Weight gain: 0 lbs

Sleep: For the most part sleeping good! Occasionally getting up to pee but not all the time anymore :)

Maternity clothes: Not yet, but I am guessing I will be in them soon! I made no real effort into getting back in shape after having Odessa 9 months ago so my abs aren't the strongest. Betting a good bump makes its debut soon!

Best Moment This Week: Sharing the news that we are expecting!

Miss Anything? Cocktails, a good glass of wine. And fall weather... we are apparently in an endless summer in California.

Movement: Too soon

Food Cravings: The craving this time around are crazy! Lately its PB&J with cheetos smashed in the middle.

Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? I have not felt great during this pregnancy but it is definitely better than Odessa pregnancy. I am on Diclegis and that is actually helping. Haven't had to add any other the other nausea meds which is great!

Gender: Don't know just yet... Hubs does't want to know until the baby is here. I have no patience for anything so I want to know if it's pink or blue yesterday. I think we'll find out soon though :)

Labor Signs: Nothing :)

Belly Button In or Out? In

Happy or Moody? Happy but oh. so. tired. Pregs with a 3 year old and an almost 9 month old is no joke!

Looking forward too: Everything! Enjoying the fall festivities with my family and everything that this time of year brings!

Third Trimester!

Hello Third Trimester!

Still can't believe how fast the time is flying. When I was pregnant with Landon it seemed like the third trimester went by the fastest until I hit 35/36 weeks then time stood still! Things have been crazy busy here here the last few days. Landon is officially in a toddler bed as he mastered the art of jumping out of his crib. We are two days in and each day is getting easier so hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be the new normal... this mama needs her sleep (pardon the dark circle and bags under my eyes). There are a lot of fun things ahead this week... pumpkin activities, trick or treating, watching the World Series (GO GIANTS!!!!) and my mom is coming into town to spend some time with us! I am so excited to start working on the nursery and other fun projects for baby girl!!

How far along? 28 Weeks

Weight gain: 12 lbs

Sleep: Not the last couple of nights :(

Maternity clothes: Yeah, yep and yes.

Best moment this week: Seeing baby girl via 4D ultrasound! I LOVE seeing her!!!

Movement: Like crazy!!!

Food cravings: Not really, but I've been really hungry lately.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Labor signs: Nope

Stretch Marks? Not a one. Belly butter, balm and lotion at least once a day!

Belly button in or out? Still in.

Happy or Moody? I'm happy. I feel good and am enjoying the last couple of months with my little guy being the only child.

Looking forward to: Watching the World Series, having friends over and visiting with my mom :)

27 Weeks

I can not believe next week I will officially be in my third trimester?! The time continues to fly!
We are just about settled into our new house. Still have some decorating to do but I feel for the most part the house looks put together and things are organized. This week I am going to start working on Baby Girl's nursery. Still not sure what I am going to do but have a couple of cute ideas :) I can't wait until it's complete but if it's anything like Landon's it won't be completely done until after she gets here.
Fall is definitely in the air! It has been a lot cooler and we've even made our first trip to the pumpkin patch. I still have so many things I want to do with my little guy before Little Miss arrives!

How far along? 27 Weeks

Weight gain: 10 lbs

Sleep: Sleep comes and goes. She is still very active and likes to dance on my bladder so I usually get up at least once to pee.

Maternity clothes: I still manage to find tops with some stretch in them but for the most part I am in maternity clothes.

Best moment this week: Giants won last night!!! We're going to the World Series!!!

Miss anything: Life with out heart burn or restless leg syndrome... whyyyyy????

Movement: Still very, very active!

Food cravings: Peaches and Hot Chocolate with TONS of marshmallows!

Anything making you queasy or sick? I had food poisoning the night before last (miserable, miserable night) but other than that I've been feeling great... minus the heart burn :(

Gender: PINK!

Labor signs: Nope

Belly button in or out? Still and innie...

Happy or moody: Pretty happy! I'm really excited to get started on some fun projects :)

Looking forward too: Working on the nursery, picking out colors and spending time with my little dude. This is absolutely my favorite time of year!

Catching up at 25 Weeks!

I'm back!!! So much has happened since I last posted four weeks ago! Needless to say I have been beyond busy and things have been crazy with our little family! Everyone is doing very well but so many changes! We just moved, like literally have been in our new house for a week and a day. It's coming together but there is still so much unpacking and organizing that needs to be done! There are days that I feel like I have all the time in the world and there are days where I am so overwhelmed I don't know where to begin. Slowly but surely it will all get done!

How far along? 25 Weeks

Weight gain? 8 lbs

Sleep: Last night was the first night, in a really long time, that I actually felt like I got a good night of sleep. I'm getting up to use the bathroom but have been able to fall back asleep fairly easily.

Maternity clothes: Still mixing it up... with the warm weather I have been wearing a lot of low cut shorts and loose fitting tops. But I'm definitely not fitting in to my skinny jeans anymore.

Best moment this week: This is going to sound ridiculous... but I got to go out and buy a new washer and dryer (after not having one for the last week) and doing laundry this morning has been awesome! I would have never thought a washer and dryer would make me so happy!

Miss anything: Of course the wine, beer, cocktails, flat tummy, sushi, ect, ect.

Movements: Yep, she doesn't sleep... ever!

Food cravings: Arnold Palmers! And anything really spicy minus the crazy heartburn that goes along with it :(

Anything making you queasy or sick? Aside from being exhausted from the move I am feeling great!

Gender: Baby girl confirmed at our 20 week scan :)

Labor signs: Nope

Belly button in or out: Still an innie but almost flat.

Happy or Moody: I have been all over the place lately... the smallest things can set me off :/ my poor husband!! But overall I'm happy :)

Looking forward to: Getting the new house together, starting baby girl's nursery and partaking in all in the fun fall festivities with my sweet boys.
