Pumpkin Patch Playtime

Yesterday we were all finally feeling a bit better. So we wiped our runny noses and headed to our local pumpkin patch. Not only does it have pumpkins - but play areas, mazes made from bails of hay, farm animals to feed and train rides too! Of course Landon was in heaven and didn't want to leave. But we played our (his) hearts out, picked out a couple of cute pumpkins and home we went. :)

It happened!

As I was watching hell freeze over and pigs fly my little boy stood patiently and gave me the best smile!! This is a rarity these days and the fact that it happened in my husbands jacket, of course Landon loves anything fireman and firetruck, just makes it all the better!
We are all still sick with horrible head colds so my afternoon will be spent in the kitchen making my homemade from scratch chicken noodle soup. Hopefully that helps us all feel better soon as I would love to get out to the pumpkin patch with the kiddos. Not to mention we have our gender reveal party this coming Sunday!! I can not wait!!!
Hope you all enjoyed the weekend and your week is off to a great start!

Sick Days...

Everyone in our house is officially sick. With no energy to participate in any of the Halloween activities, nor do we want to scare anyone with the creepy goo coming from our noses, we spent the day at home doing not much of anything. Odessa woke up from her morning nap and was in a great mood so I put together a make-shift studio in my office and snapped a couple of cute pictures. Then came this image. Sometimes I can barely handle her and all her cuteness! Especially for not feeling 100%. I miss the days where I could get Landon to sit still for a picture! Maybe tomorrow :)

Odessa - Nine Months!

Holy heck where is the time going?? I can not believe this baby girl is nine months already! I honestly feel like is was a couple weeks ago I was waiting for her arrival. I can't believe how much she's changed lately and everything she's learning. She now waves, to everyone. She is very curious and inquisitive. She laughs easily and cry's like a full on drama audition if you take something away from her that she wasn't done with yet. She loves being with with people but I would describe her as in dependent as she is very good playing by herself for a good stretch of time. She has slept through the night for a long time now. Usually going to bed at 7pm and waking up around 7am. She has two teeth, the bottom ones. She army crawls like a champ and gets around very well doing that. She has a couple of walking toys that she loves and makes her way around the house with. She laughs at the dogs, loves hugs and sunshine and I couldn't be happier she's mine!

I guess I better start planning that First Birthday of hers! :)

I took this pic of O a few days ago and its quickly became one of my favorites!

12 Week Bump-date

(disclosure1 - I took the picture at the 12 week mark but am a day shy of 14 weeks ;))
(disclosure2 - I know there is no chance of me doing these boards every week this time around but will do my best to do them as often as I can)

How far along? 12 Weeks

Weight gain: 0 lbs

Sleep: For the most part sleeping good! Occasionally getting up to pee but not all the time anymore :)

Maternity clothes: Not yet, but I am guessing I will be in them soon! I made no real effort into getting back in shape after having Odessa 9 months ago so my abs aren't the strongest. Betting a good bump makes its debut soon!

Best Moment This Week: Sharing the news that we are expecting!

Miss Anything? Cocktails, a good glass of wine. And fall weather... we are apparently in an endless summer in California.

Movement: Too soon

Food Cravings: The craving this time around are crazy! Lately its PB&J with cheetos smashed in the middle.

Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? I have not felt great during this pregnancy but it is definitely better than Odessa pregnancy. I am on Diclegis and that is actually helping. Haven't had to add any other the other nausea meds which is great!

Gender: Don't know just yet... Hubs does't want to know until the baby is here. I have no patience for anything so I want to know if it's pink or blue yesterday. I think we'll find out soon though :)

Labor Signs: Nothing :)

Belly Button In or Out? In

Happy or Moody? Happy but oh. so. tired. Pregs with a 3 year old and an almost 9 month old is no joke!

Looking forward too: Everything! Enjoying the fall festivities with my family and everything that this time of year brings!

Pink or Blue? We'll find out soon! Coming Spring 2016!

Yes, another football and holiday season where I will remain cocktail-less, feeling a little dejavu. We are extremely excited that we will be adding a sweet bundle to our family this coming Spring!!

Our family has been busy as ever with one thing or another. Landon started preschool and is loving every. minute. of. it. - like throws tantrums when I pick him up, doesn’t want to leave school, loving it. Which I guess is better than the kids holding the fence begging you not to leave ;). Odessa is doing wonderfully (I promise I will do her update on the 16th!). She hasn't started crawling just yet but is a champ at army crawling, manages to get anywhere and everywhere she wants and is eating more and more solids. Billy has been working, a lot, and I have been busy with the kids and all the other gazillion projects I keep myself busy with.

Hoping that second trimester energy surge happens soon (the allowance of one cup of caffeine a day blows!!) and looking forward to all things fall (weather, especially the weather) with my little family!
