Super Kindergartner!

Oh hello there sweet neglected blog! Last night I stumbled across something that led me back to reading some really old blog posts... like when Landon was only months old, old. And my goodness, it made my heart so happy to read about life then and see sweet pictures of my boy. So a promise to myself has been made. I am going to start documenting and sharing more so that I can come back and read how life was then. Because this raising children gig... man it goes by fast!!

So since it's been a while since I've caught you all up on Landon, and he was the inspiration on starting this whole blog anyway, let's get you all caught up on my KINDERGARTNER. Yep, that's right, my LB is in K!

He was beyond excited to start Kindergarten. I'm pretty sure he asked me everyday for a month leading up to the start of school if tomorrow he could go to Kindergarten. I felt he was beyond ready socially and academically as well so I knew he would do great! And it is so fun watching him learn and excel now. He literally wants to do homework every day (for now at least ;)).

He also started playing soccer. And he completely loves it! He actually scored his first goal this last weekend and it was so exciting!! I love watching him have so much fun out there!

He's still your typical five year old. He can be extremely stubborn and, as far as he's concerned, knows everything. But the best part about him is his sweetness and caring nature. He really is a good kid and am so lucky to be his mama!

Baby Billy Turns One!

I skipped over a lot of what has been going on with our sweet family lately. I've said it once and I'll say it again but I swear I am going to be better about blogging. Starting with my sweet babies first birthday party! I'll post more about life lately soon, but for now here are some pictures from Baby Billy's Vintage Baseball themed First Birthday Party :)
Of course vintage baseball was the theme. We had our friends and family come wearing their teams clothing. It was a fabulous afternoon with hotdogs, hamburgers, peanuts, sunflower seeds and everything else baseball!
I can't believe my baby will be ONE tomorrow!

Catching up...

Well it is here!! I woke up this morning, ran down stairs and put on College Game Day! Finally, a football season that I can wake up and start my day with a Bloody Mary, prep a delicious meal that will cook all day, while watching game after game. I almost forgot how much I loved this season. Although I know it is not officially here (the date and the weather remind me), I am soooooo beyond happy that fall just about here! To know the holidays are right around the corner makes me the happiest! I can't wait to dress these littles up for Halloween (I may or may not have already purchased their Halloween jammies!) and of course can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Landon is back in school and loving it. He is so excited to go to school and is learning so much - most impressive to me is his Spanish. Everyday when he wakes up he asks if it's a "school day" and basically counts down the hours till it is one.

Odessa is doing great! We are about to start a toddler tumbling class as this girl loves to flip, jump and everything else that makes my heart skip a beat. I am finally feeling like taking on all these different schedules won't be so bad. William isn't nursing every five minutes anymore which makes getting out so much easier. He's pretty happy hanging out in the stroller watching the world go by and never complains when I wear him.

I'm feeling pretty confident in this "family of five" gig lately. There are definitely days that are harder than others but I love this little family of mine!

Bring on the cold weather, sweater & boots, yummy cooking and cocktails!
